Im Rahmen meines Stipendium am THE STUDIO, Hollywood International Film Actors Workshop, Los Angeles 2004 habe ich mit Sam Christensen (Acting/ Myth/ Archetype), Mark Travis (Scene Analysis, Sanford Meiser Technique), Bjorn Johnson (Scene studies and Monologues), Cherie Franklin (Read and Respond), Margie Haber (Cold Reading) und Petra Gallasch gearbeitet. Ich mag experimentelle und mutige Filme, Verdichtung und Leere, vielleicht.

Limit, (D), Kurzfilm, Rolle: schwangere serbische Ehefrau (HR), Regie: Christoph Willems, Berlin, Film wurde in Serbisch gedreht, von der Filmbewertungsstelle Wiesbaden mit dem Prädikat WERTVOLL ausgezeichnet.
A couple of serbian immigrants in Berlin on the edge of everything. They have a very archaic male-female relationship with no love but much needs. And both suffer from permanent excessive demands of family and society when he gets involved in the serbian gangsta milieu.

The movie tells the story of two poor fresco painters in 1820 Bavaria. In a dream they find beautiful fortuna who promises luck. On the streets they meet a young lady which resembles exactly the beautiful fortuna of their dream, but she is married to an old, rich and jealous farmer. Will she go away with them and will they be happy all three together?

Finally there comes an interesting experiment. The Dutch director Edwin Brienen created this cinematic tragicomedy within a few days using simple methods and a cast including some well-known actors. The film tells the story of the odyssey of an awkward young man looking for someone to spend Christmas with. The scenes feature humorous dialogues and song and often develop little pearls of commentary on the amusing and desperate emptiness of human relationships. A Christmas tragicomedy which probes the border crossings to the absurd and reaches its climax when he meets lunatic Cat.
